Background
Since 2018, Thesis has made Project Content Ranking (PCR) pages for their long-standing client, Adobe. These SEO pages are crafted as entertaining and informational how-to articles for readers that range from beginners to experts on Adobe’s creative software tools. Not only do they serve as keeping Adobe at the top of SEO rankings, but also to engage welcome readers into Adobe.com.
My role
I was challenged with starting to design 1-3 PCR articles a week. When the article was ready for design, I would read through the copy for the article and start plugging it into the Adobe Xd template provided from the brand. As I designed the article I would start to create concepts for imagery.
My goal was to create a visual narrative that corresponded with the article’s flow of information. Many articles explain how to use different features within Adobe programs, so I took UI from the relevant program and created visuals that could elevate the copy. The end piece resulting in an article that inspires and informs, with the copy and design working hand in hand.
